Police release second photo of suspect vehicle involved in fatal hit-and-run

London police have released yet another photo of a vehicle they believe may have been involved in a hit-and-run collision that killed 29-year-old Fanshawe College student Jibin Benoy.
They also say witnesses have told them there were multiple people in the car at the time of the incident.
Benoy was struck and killed on Hamilton Road on Sept. 18 near Little Grey Street. It was 4 a.m. and he was riding home from his job at a fried chicken restaurant.
The driver of the car involved in the crash did not remain at the scene.
Shortly after Benoy's death, police released information on the vehicle they suspect was involved in the hit-and-run. They said they were looking for a two-door blue sedan with a loud muffler.
On Sept. 29, police released a photo of the vehicle they believed to be involved. That photo showed a blurry frame from CCTV footage showing a blue sedan. On Thursday, police released a more detailed and clear image of what appears to be the same vehicle.
The car is believed to have significant damage to the front end, hood and windshield, police say.
Benoy was in his second year at Fanshawe College studying operations management. He had moved from Kerala, India, and was planning to bring his wife to London to start a life together in Canada.
His death prompted calls for safer and more protected bike lanes for cyclists, from London's cycling community.
