
Police recovers 2,360 kg of ganja along Assam-Tripura border, 2 held

The Assam Police on Sunday seized approximately 2,360 kg of ganja in Karimganj district along Assam-Tripura border.
The Assam Police on Sunday recovered a huge consignment of ganja, approximately 2,360 kg, in Karimganj district along the Assam-Tripura border.
Acting on a tip off, Karimganj district police conducted naka checking at Churaibari area along the Assam-Tripura border and intercepted a truck which was coming from the Tripura side.
A police official of Karimganj district said that during the search, the police team recovered the drug consignment from the truck. Two people were arrested in connection with the case.
