A Nashik Police team is on its way to arrest Union minister Narayan Rane over his controversial remark that he would slap Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Narayan Rane is currently on his Jan Ashirwad rally in the Konkan region. Narayan Rane had said that "it is shameful that the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray does not know the year of Independence. He had to ask for the count of years during his speech and if I would have been there, I would have given him a slap".
