Hamilton police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot multiple times at a Mountain bar.
Officers were called to Raoabe Restaurant, Lounge and Bar at 1405 Upper Ottawa Street around 2:30 a.m. and found the 26-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a media release.
Two male suspects wearing dark clothing were seen fleeing the bar, said police.
David Thompson, a superintendent with Hamilton Paramedic Service, said the victim was transported to hospital without vital signs.
The man later died of his injuries.
"A large number of patrons" were inside the bar when the shots were fired, said police.
They're asking witnesses or anyone with video of the shooting to contact detectives with the major crime unit or Crime Stoppers.
Photos from the scene show police tape wrapped around the parking lot near the corner of Upper Ottawa and Stone Church Road East.
Police are asking people to stay out of the area.
