Police inspector in Hyderabad knocked down by BMW car | Video

Inspector Jahangeer was knocked down by a BMW car in Hyderabad on Monday. The driver said that he did not notice the inspector walking on the road. The inspector sustained only minor injuries, but a case was registered and the car was seized.
A police inspector was injured after a BMW car hit him in Hyderabad's Tank Bund Road on Monday, March 21. Musheerabad inspector, E Jahangeer, was on duty at Tank Bund when a BMW car coming from Rani Gunj in Secundrabad hit the inspector from behind.
CCTV visuals show the car knocking the inspector from behind. The inspector sustained injuries, but not serious ones.
Jahangir had got down from his patrol car and was walking on the road to disperse the crowd at the Tank Bund Road.
The driver of the car was identified as Mir Osman Ali Khan, a used car dealer in Asif Nagar of Hyderabad. He said that he did not notice the inspector walking on the road.
A case under 337 IPC was registered against the car driver and the vehicle was seized by the police.
