The "armed and dangerous" suspect in Monday's deadly shooting inside a grocery store in Washington state was identified Monday night as Aaron Christopher Kelly, officials said.
A Benton County Superior Court judge found probable cause to issue an arrest warrant for Kelly, according to Richland Police Commander Jon Schwarder.
Kelly has not been charged, and remains at large, Schwarder said. The arrest warrant applies nationwide and bail has been set at $1 million, he added.
After recent burglaries at homes of professional athletes – including Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce – the NFL and NBA have issued security memos to teams and players warning that “organized and skilled groups” are increasingly targeting players’ residences for such crimes.
