YS Sharmila, daughter of former Andhra CM, was detained by the Hyderabad police for extending the protest window from beyond what was permitted.
Hyderabad police on Thursday detained YS Sharmila, daughter of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and sister of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, for breaching the time window allotted for her protest at Indira Park. YS Sharmila was holding a protest to demand job notification for unemployed youths. The Hyderabad police had granted permission to Sharmila to hold a day-long hunger strike at Indira Park. Sharmila sought an extension for two more days but was denied permission.More Related News
