PM Modi to visit Pune today to unveil 9.5-ft tall Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's statue

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the 12 km stretch of the total 32.2 km Pune metro rail project and will lay the foundation stone of various development projects.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today (March 6, 2022) visit Pune (Maharashtra) to unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the premises of Pune Municipal Corporation. The Statue, which is made up of 1,850 kg of gunmetal and is about 9.5-feet tall, will be unveiled by the Prime Minister at around 11 AM.
On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's Jayanti on February 19, the Prime Minister had said that his outstanding leadership and emphasis on social welfare has been inspiring people for generations.
