Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday thanked his followers in the WhatsApp community for joining his channel as it crossed 5 million followers in less than a week.

Currently, PM Modi is the world leader with the highest and fastest growing following on WhatsApp Channel.
Fahad Ahmed, a candidate of the Sharad Pawar-led NCP faction, is currently trailing Sana Malik, nominee of Ajit Pawar's NCP, by over 3,000 votes and the counting is nearing completion.
