PM Modi's banner, lotus-symbol bags: BJP's directives for maximum publicity of PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana

In all the BJP-ruled states, the party has asked to set up banners of PM Modi and the chief minister in every ration store. Special bags with the symbol of lotus have been designed as well to distribute the rations.

The BJP has decided to heavily promote the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) scheme which was launched in March last year to provide rations during the Covid-19 pandemic. The flagship welfare scheme of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government, the PMGKAY aims to give five kilograms of wheat or rice and one kilogram of dal to every family holding a ration card.
