PM Modi meets Biden, Trudeau and Macron at G7 summit

Prime Minister Modi is attending the G7 summit held in the Alpine castle of Schloss Elmau in southern Germany following an invitation by German Chancellor Scholz
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 27 met US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the G7 Summit venue in Germany and briefly interacted with each other ahead of the group photo.
Prime Minister Modi, who is in Germany on a two-day visit from Sunday for the summit of the G7, was received by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz upon his arrival at Schloss Elmau, the picturesque venue of the summit in southern Germany.
Before the group photo session, President Biden walked towards Prime Minister Modi and exchanged pleasantries and warmly shook hands.
Prime Minister Modi, who was standing next to Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau for the group photo, was also seen interacting with him. Both leaders are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting later this evening.
The bonhomie between Mr. Modi and Mr. Macron was on full display as they hugged and briefly chatted after the group photo. As the G7 leaders went inside the summit venue, the two leaders continued with their discussion and went inside together.
