Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the building of Rashtriya Raksha University to the nation and delivered its first convocation speech at Ahmedabad.
PM Modi has dedicated the building of Rashtriya Raksha University to the nation today, March 12. He delivered his first convocation address at Ahmedabad for the university.
Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat, and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were also present at the event.
While addressing the university, PM Modi paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and those who participated in the Dandi March. As the great march started on this day only.

While talking about reforms, the Prime Minister said that after independence, there was a need for reforms in the country's security apparatus.
"Post-independence, there was a need for reforms in the country's security apparatus. A perception was developed that we have to be careful of the uniformed personnel. But it has transformed now. When people see uniformed personnel now, they get the assurance of help", PM Modi said.
