PM Modi was to travel to Portugal for the 16th India-EU summit that was scheduled for May 8, following which he was to travel to France for a bilateral visit. India on Tuesday recorded 2.59 lakh fresh Covid-19 cases and over 1,700 deaths within the span of 24 hours. Over the past month, India has witnessed a massive second wave of Covid-19 cases that has hit hard.
