Pink-ball Test: Australia captain Meg Lanning was given out LBW on Day 3 against India but replays showed that she had got an inside edge, which led to Alyssa Healy saying that she would "love to see" DRS being used.
The Decision Review System (DRS) was originally intended to be used in the pink ball Test between India and Australia but it was unavailable due to the last-minute relocation of the matches to Mackay and Gold Coast, said Cricket Australia. Australia captain Meg Lanning was given out LBW on Saturday but replays showed that the ball hat taken an inside edge, leading to team mate Alyssa Healy saying that she would "love to see" DRS being used.
A CA spokesperson said on Saturday, according to cricket.com.au, that it had intended to use the technology for the entire multi-format series against India, but the late relocation and logistical problems like border closures, had made it impossible.
