Jailed activist Natasha Narwal has been granted interim bail by the Delhi High Court after her father, Mahavir Narwal, passed away on Sunday.
Pinjra Tod activist Natasha Narwal who was arrested for allegedly being part of a premeditated conspiracy in the Delhi riots has been granted interim bail by the high court. Natasha was arrested in May last year and was booked under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The activist has been lodged in Tihar Jail. The Delhi HC on Monday granted three-week interim bail to Pinjra Tod activist Natasha Narwal on a personal bond of Rs 50,000, a day after her father Mahavir Narwal died of the novel coronavirus infection. Mahavir Narwal was a noted scientist and a senior member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).More Related News
