A military aircraft has crashed near Nellis Air Force Base, according to officials.
The pilot of an aircraft that crashed soon after takeoff from Nellis Air Force Base Monday afternoon has died, Nellis AFB confirmed in a statement. Their identity has not been released, and no other people were onboard. Officials from the base first reported the crash on Twitter. Officials said the "contractor-operated aircraft" crashed just outside the southern edge of the base around 2:30 p.m. local time.More Related News
