Phil Collins’ Alamo artifacts collection go on display in Texas

The former drummer and front-man for Genesis fell in love with the Alamo’s story as a 5-year-old when he saw the Disney production of “Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier.”
"We are beyond excited to finally share some of the amazing artifacts Mr. Collins so generously donated," said Kristi Miller Nichols, the Alamo’s director of archaeology, collections and historical research. "The public has been very interested in seeing the Collins collection," she shared. "It has been an honor to care for and preserve these artifacts over the years. The temporary exhibit is on display through April 25. The 70-year-old previously donated his collection of more than 200 artifacts to the Texas General Land Office in 2014.More Related News
