PHCC administers over 2.2 million Covid-19 vaccines to date

Doha: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) and its staff have administered more than 2.2 million vaccine doses since the start of National Covid-19 Vaccination Program. 

On December 23, 2020, staff at Al Wajbah Health Center administered the first Covid-19 vaccine dose in Qatar and since then PHCC’s vaccination teams have been administering Covid-19 vaccines across all 27 health centers as well as the dedicated vaccination center at Qatar National Convention Center.  “Our staff at PHCC have played a central role in the delivery of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program which to date has enabled more than 92 percent of eligible people to receive at least one vaccine dose,” said Dr. Mariam Abdulmalik, Managing Director of PHCC.
