Petrol price decreases in Bhubaneswar, diesel rates unchanged | Check latest rates

After the latest revision, petrol prices in the city stand at Rs 101.10 per litre while diesel continues to retail at Rs 91.91 per litre, with no changes in the prices. The petrol price has come down by Rs 1 in the city in the last 24 hours.
On Friday, February 4, 2022, there has been a decrease in petrol prices in Odisha’s capital city, Bhubaneswar. On the other hand, diesel rates have remained constant.
After the latest revision, petrol prices in the city stand at Rs 101.10 per litre while diesel continues to retail at Rs 91.91 per litre, with no changes in the prices. The petrol price has come down by Rs 1 in the city in the last 24 hours.
Though petrol prices have been cut by a slight margin, it is still retailing above the 100-mark in the city.
Earlier on Thursday, the petrol and diesel prices were recorded at Rs 102.10 and 91.91 per litre respectively. Notably, fuel rates have been fluctuating in the city for the past few days.
Talking about fuel rates across the country, the state-run oil marketing companies have kept the prices of petrol and diesel stable for almost three months now.
Notably, the last revision in the prices of petrol and diesel was recorded in November last year, when the central government slashed VAT on fuels, providing relief to consumers from all-time high fuel rates.
Since then, fuel rates have maintained stability mainly in four metro cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai).
