The state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have kept the prices of petrol and diesel unchanged on Saturday, November 27, 2021, marking stability in fuel rates for more than three weeks now.

Notably, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel for the 23rd consecutive day as the fuel rates were last revised on November 4 across key cities when the central government announced excise duty cut on petrol and diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 10, respectively, following which many NDA-ruled states also announced a cut in Value Added Tax (VAT) on fuel rates.
