The prices of petrol and diesel have maintained stability across the country as the state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have not revised the fuel rates on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Notably, oil companies have kept the prices of petrol and diesel stable for over a month now.

However, last week, the Delhi government announced a reduction in value-added tax (VAT) on petrol from 30 per cent to 19.40 per cent, making petrol cheaper by Rs 8.56 per litre in the national capital.
