The prices of petrol and diesel remained static on Sunday for the fifteenth day in a row. Check the latest city-wise rates here.

There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel on August 1, 2021. The state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have not hiked the rates of petrol and diesel for the fifteenth consecutive day. Even though the prices of petrol and diesel have remained unaltered for fifteen days now, they remain at an all-time high. In the national capital, the rate of a litre of petrol is retailing at Rs 101.84 while that of diesel is Rs 89.87. In Mumbai, petrol prices were unchanged at Rs 107.83 per litre and a litre of diesel is retailing at Rs 97.45. On the other hand, in Chennai, petrol costs Rs 102.49 per litre and diesel can be bought at Rs 94.39 per litre. In Kolkata, petrol prices remained unchanged at Rs 102.8 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs 93.02.
