The prices of petrol and diesel touched another record high on Saturday after the rates were hiked for the third day in a row. The state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have revised the fuel rates on October 2, 2021 and with this second hike, the prices of petrol and diesel are soaring at an all-time high across the country.

According to Indian Oil Corporation, country's largest fuel retailer, petrol price inched up 25 paise and diesel rose 30 paise per litre on Saturday in the national capital. The rates of petrol and diesel started witnessing a hike after the rates of crude oil jumped in the global market.
