With fuel rates increasing daily in October, the prices of petrol and diesel are soaring at an all-time high across the country. The state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have once again revised the fuel rates on October 3, making it the fourth consecutive day for rising fuel prices.

According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest fuel retailer, petrol prices inched up 25 paise and diesel rose 30 paise per litre on Sunday in the national capital. Notably, petrol and diesel prices started witnessing a hike after the rates of crude oil jumped in the global market.
