The price of petrol and diesel has been hiked once again for the ninth time in 10 days. Check the latest rates in the major cities here.
The price of petrol and diesel has been increased by 80 paise in Delhi. As of Thursday, petrol is being sold at Rs 101.81 per litre and diesel at Rs 93.07 per litre in the national capital.
Mumbai saw a rise of 84 paise in fuel prices, bringing the cost of petrol and diesel to Rs 116.72 and Rs 100.94.
In Chennai, the prices were hiked by 76 paise, bringing the price of petrol to Rs 107.45 and diesel to Rs 97.52.
In Kolkata, the price of petrol saw an increase of 83 paise to Rs 111.35 and diesel was hiked by 80 paise and is being sold at Rs 96.22.

Rates have been increased across the country and vary from state to state depending upon the incidence of local taxation.
This is the ninth increase in prices since the ending of a four-and-half-month-long hiatus in rate revision on March 22.
