After witnessing a hike on Saturday, petrol and diesel prices remained steady on July 11 across the country. The state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have kept the fuel prices unchanged after they touched a record high on July 10. The petrol prices in the national capital stood at Rs 100.91 per litre while diesel was retailing at Rs 89.88 per litre. On July 10, the prices of petrol and diesel were hiked by 35 paise and 26 paise respectively and the prices were increased for the 38th time since May 4, after the OMCs ended an 18-day hiatus in rate revision.
