After a day's hiatus, petrol and diesel prices were increased again across the country. With this, fuel rates have been hiked for the 34th time since May 4. On Sunday, the state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) increased petrol prices by 35 paise per litre and diesel by 18 paise per litre. In Delhi, the cost of a litre of petrol is inching closer to the Rs 100 mark and currently stands at Rs 99.51, while diesel is retailing at Rs 89.36 per litre.
