PETA India confers award on Lucknow cop for feeding stray animals during Covid lockdown

Chiranjeev Sinha, a police officer in Uttar Pradesh's capital city of Lucknow, has been awarded by PETA for feeding stray animals during the Covid-19 lockdown.
A Lucknow police officer was felicitated with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India Award for feeding stray animals during the lockdown. Restrictions are in place in Uttar Pradesh to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission. Along with his team, UP police officer Chiranjeev Nath Sinha, posted as additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP) in Lucknow central zone, distributed fruits to stray dogs, monkeys, and cows during the time when strict curfews and lockdown were imposed in the city to contain coronavirus.More Related News
