Perth OPP arrest and charge Toronto man with abduction of person under 14

The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police arrested and charged a 36-year-old Toronto man with abduction of a person under 14.
Perth County OPP, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch and with the assistance of the Toronto Police Service arrested and charged the man Monday, according to a release.
Police said the man was charged under section 281 of the Criminal Code with Abduction of Person Under 14.
The man was held in custody and is pending a bail hearing, police said.
Earlier this week an 11-year-old girl was reported missing from Perth County. OPP issued a release at around 4:40 a.m. Tuesday to say the girl had been found.
OPP would not confirm if the two cases are connected.
