People over 30 now eligible for vaccine

Doha: The age threshold for COVID-19 vaccine eligibility will be lowered to 30 years from today. The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) in a recent statement had said that all people aged over 30 will be eligible to receive the vaccine after the Eid holiday. 

Individuals can register through the Ministry of Public Health website (www.moph.gov.qa). The change comes as part of the phased roll-out of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program which continues to pick up pace and has now administered more than 2.1 million vaccines doses.
