Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during the BJP’s legislative party meet in UP, said that the people of the state have elected Yogi Adityanath as the chief minister, and the party members have just elected a leader today.
After Yogi Adityanath was elected as the leader of the BJP’s legislative party in Uttar Pradesh, Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah said that Yogi Adityanath had been elected as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh by the people.
“We have once again elected Yogi Adityanath as the party leader, but the Prime Minister had said at the very beginning of the election process that the BJP is once again going to form the government in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath,” said HM Amit Shah at the BJP’s legislature party meeting held in Lucknow on Thursday, March 24.
“Since 2014 till now, the people of the state have reposed their faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi in every election,” he said.

“Political pundits will have to think deeply about how the public has repeatedly reposed their faith in the leadership of the BJP. This has been possible because of our dedicated working style towards the people of the country,” added Amit Shah.
“The development work that started in the UP five years ago, will now be taken forward for the next five years to fulfill the aspirations of the common people,” he said.
The swearing-in ceremony of Yogi Adityanath, as the chief minister of the state for a second straight term, will be held tomorrow.
