Pentagon says Iranian-proxy fighters 'likely' killed during US attacks in Syria and Iraq
Fox News
The Pentagon said the assessment of damage done during Friday's attacks in Syria and Iraq continues, adding it is "likely" Iranian-proxies were killed in the strikes.
The strikes came in response to attacks against U.S. forces, including an attack on Jan. 28 in northeastern Jordan, in which three U.S. service members were killed. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
On Friday, the U.S. conducted strikes on seven facilities in Iraq and Syria, Ryder said, which included over 85 targets used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and affiliated proxies to attack U.S. forces. Story tips and can be sent to Greg.Wehner@Fox.com and on Twitter @GregWehner.
