Pentagon does not think balloon that flew near Hawaii is spycraft: sources
Fox News
U.S. government officials are claiming that a balloon aircraft detected last week in Hawaiian airspace is a "weather balloon" with "no signals coming from it."
"Seems to be a weather balloon, no Signals coming from it. Not being steered," a senior U.S. defense official told Fox News. Jennifer Griffin currently serves as a national security correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC) and is based out of the Washington D.C. bureau. She joined the network in October 1999 as a Jerusalem-based correspondent.
The balloon is currently floating above international waters and headed for Mexican airspace.
