Paul Stirling propels Southern Brave to first ever men's Hundred title

Southern Brave won the inaugural Hundred competition on Saturday, comfortably beating Birmingham Phoenix in the men's final at a packed Lord's.

Paul Stirling smashed six sixes in an entertaining 61 off 36 balls to help the Southern Brave win the inaugural men's title of The Hundred with a 32-run victory over Birmingham Phoenix at Lord's. After a month of thrills and spills in the new 100-ball format that has proved popular with the fans, the men's final was denied the thrilling climax it deserved.
