Patna: Parallel taxiway to be built at airport; runway expansion plans are underway

The officials are planning to further expand the runway for the Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport, Patna, and build a parallel taxiway.
In order to improve connectivity and flight operations to and from the airport, the runways of Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport, Patna will be further expanded. On Sunday, the Recommendation Committee for safe flight operations and improvement of airport infrastructure under the chairmanship of the Ex-union minister and local MP Ravishankar Prasad met in the airport auditorium and decided upon this.
As per the report by Dainik Jagran, the chairman of the committee, was also apprised by the airport authority officials about the changes made in the existing terminal hall of the airport and was updated about the construction progress of the new terminal hall as well.
