As heavy rains lashed Bihar, people in a flood-ravaged village in Bihar's Bhagalpur used a makeshift boat to carry a patient to the hospital.
Heavy rains have created a flood-like situation in Bihar's Bhagalpur district and normal life has been thrown out of gear. In a video that has emerged online, people in a flood-affected village in Bhagalpur district made a makeshift boat to carry a patient to the hospital.

The India Meterological Department (IMD) has warned of heavy rainfall in Bihar for the next two days and has advised people to take precautionary measures. The weather office has sounded an alert for Supaul, Kishanganj and Purnia districts. Bihar has received 486.2 mm of rainfall in the last three months against 782.6 mm of rain.
Heavy rains lashed many parts of the state on Thursday and more showers are expected in at least 16 districts of Bihar, the MeT said. Ramnagar in West Champaran recorded the highest rainfall in the state with 129.8 mm of rainfall.
