Pashupati Paras has been elected unopposed as national president of the LJP.
Pashupati Kumar Paras, brother of the late LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan, was on Thursday elected unopposed as the party national president. Pashupati Paras was earlier recognised as the floor leader of the Lok Janshakti Party in Lok Sabha in place of Paswan's son Chirag. Five of the LJP's six MPs had met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Sunday and given him a written request to appoint Paras as their leader in place of Chirag.More Related News
