Parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh likely to receive unseasonal rainfall

Parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are likely to receive unseasonal rainfall on February 9. The weather agency has said that the temperature is expected to drop after Thursday.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh may receive spells of unseasonal rain in the coming days and the temperature may also see a drop. The weather agency stated that Rewa, Shahdol, Gwalior Jabalpur and Chambal divisions are expected to receive rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning.
The latest release from the meteorological department stated that light rainfall was recorded in Sagar, Rewa, Jabalpur districts during the last 24 hours and no significant change in weather was noticed in other regions. Under the influence of a fresh western disturbance that is approaching the Western Himalayas, which will induce a cyclonic circulation over north-west Rajasthan.
The weather office has warned of a number of cyclonic circulations developing over Rajasthan. It said that circulations have travelled across central parts over Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, which may lead to unseasonal showers in both the states today.

This cyclonic circulation will travel east over south Haryana. A trough will extend from this cyclonic circulation to Bihar across north-west Madhya Pradesh, bringing rainfall to two states.
