Tribune News NetworkDohaPalma Hospitality Group carried out a number of activities and events in the Holy Month of Ramadan.The group also celebrated the night of Garangao and organised a Quranic competition to celebrate the blessed Eid Al-Fitr. The celebration witnessed a great turnout from the pioneers of the Minipolis Centre. The celebration included a number of activities and events directed at children in a festive atmosphere on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.Commenting on the celebrations, Dr Tahani Saqr, CEO of Palma Group, said: âWithin the framework of the operational plan of Palma Hospitality Group, we seek to implement a number of events and activities for the benefit of visitors and attendees of the Minipolis Centre and other restaurants of the group in order to enhance the role of the target audience by providing all means entertainment and education at the Minipolis Centre for children. We are working to enhance and develop the childrenâs skills and provide them with a space for entertainment and education at the same time.âSaqr added, âThe events included in our annual implementation plan are not limited to Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, but Palma Group seeks to provide a distinguished atmosphere for all visitors to our entertainment facilities and restaurants, especially in the Minipolis Centre. We are preparing to implement a full plan during the World Cup, which will be held this November.âThe Minipolis Centre also organised a Quran recitation competition for childrenâs category. The event also included a number of activities such as making rosaries, creating a great interaction between the children participants.At the end of the programme, the participants received various prizes.The Minipolis Centre participated in the Garangao night, one of the authentic Qatari customs rooted in every Qatari home with the aim of promoting the values of solidarity among members of society. During the event, tours were made to the facilities and restaurants of Palma and Ora companies, where Garangao gifts were distributed. The tour also included a number of activities such as drawing, colouring, folk dances and folk games.Palma Hospitality Group is a Qatari company that was established in 2012, and it includes a number of luxury restaurants such as Damasca for Syrian cuisine, Qahwetna for Qatari cuisine, Moka Coffee Shop and Minipolis, an educational and entertainment centre that combines education and entertainment for children between two to 12 years old with the aim of helping develop their creativities skills and motivating them to love learning through many different activities and workshops.
