The Judicial Commission of Pakistan has paved the way for Justice Ayesh Malik of the Lahore High Court to be elevated to the country's Apex Court as Pakistan's first woman Supreme Court judge.

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan on Thursday approved the elevation of Justice Ayesha Malik as a judge of the country's Supreme Court. She is now set to become Pakistan's first woman Supreme Court judge.
