Doha, Qatar: With the participation of 100 outlets, the First Al Hamba Mango and Mango Products Festival for Pakistani mangos will begin on June 27 at Souq Waqif offering the rich and varieties, and diverse flavors of Pakistani mangoes.
The 10-day festival will be organised by the Celebrations Committee of the Private Engineering Office in cooperation with the Embassy of Pakistan from June 27 until July 6, 2024 from 4pm to 9pm daily.
General Supervisor of the festival Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi, in a statement, said that the festival will showcase some new types of Pakistani mangoes that are distinguished by their quality and taste, and which are presented in the Qatari markets for the first time.
He noted that a direct import line has been allocated from all Pakistani cities famous for mango production to Qatar specifically for this festival, noting that all shipments will be by air, and large and varied quantities will be offered.
Al Suwaidi added that there are Qatari companies participating in the exhibition, but most of the companies in this edition are coming from Pakistan, unlike Indian mango, in which most of the companies were local. He said that dozens of varieties of mango and mango products like juices, sweets and pickles will be displayed.
