Former Pakistan captain and batting great Inzamam-ul-Haq was rushed to surgery on Monday after suffering a heart attack in Lahore. Inzamam, 51, underwent a successful angioplasty and is now stable.
Inzamam, who is recognised as one of Pakistan's most successful captains of all time, had been complaining of chest pain for three days, according to ESPNCricinfo. While initial tests cleared him, tests on Monday revealed that he had suffered a heart attack after which he was rushed to surgery.
