Pakistan captain Babar Azam, Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan are among the four players who have been nominated for ICC Men's ODI Player of the Year Award for 2021.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam, Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan are among the four players nominated for the Men's ODI Player of the Year Award by the International Cricket Council. Babar, if picked for the top prize, will be the first Pakistan player to win the ODI honour and the third overall from the country after Mohammad Yousuf (Men's Test Player in 2007) and Hasan Ali (Men's T20I Player in 2017).
South Africa's Janneman Malan and Ireland's Paul Stirling complete the 4-man shortlist for the top honour in ODI cricket.
