Pakistan better own world record with 18 T20I wins in a year after 63-run demolition of West Indies in Karachi

Pakistan beat West Indies by 63 runs in the first T20 international at the National Stadium in Karachi to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series on Monday.

Pakistan on Monday made history as they crushed West Indies by 63 runs in the first T20 international in Karachi to become the first team to register 18 victories in the format in a calendar year.

Chasing a mammoth 201 for victory, Pakistan bowled out the two-time former world champions for 137 in 19 overs to better their own record of 17 wins in a calendar year, which they had achieved in 2018.
