At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, fire crews responded to a fire at a home located on Guildford Crescent. Two residents managed to escape the fire, but two pets died as a result and a third pet is currently missing.
According to a tweet from London fire Sunday morning, damage is estimated at $250,000.
London fire said one occupant was assessed by paramedics, and added that a working smoke alarm is credited to alerting the occupants of the home.
Most of the damage is concentrated at the back of the home.
London fire said the fire is not suspicious in nature.
The cause of the blaze is unknown, but fire inspectors are currently on scene.
