Over 75% of eligible population receives at least one dose of vaccine

Doha: More than 75% of the country’s eligible population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Also 64.2% of the eligible population (16 years and above) has received two doses, according to the Ministry of Public Health, yesterday.
The Ministry in its daily report said, 22,957 vaccine doses have been administered in 24 hours and 3,249,265 doses have been administered since the start of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program. Also 97.6% of over 60s (the most vulnerable population group) have been vaccinated with at least one dose; while 92.5% have received both doses. The Ministry also reported 64 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 among community and 57 among travellers yesterday. Some 189 people have recovered from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 220,449.More Related News
