Over 51% children in Mumbai have Covid antibodies, says BMC after sero survey

The latest sero survey in Mumbai has revealed that 51 per cent of children between the ages of 6 and 18 have developed antibodies against Covid-19. The BMC said the sero positivity is highest among children in the age group of 10-14 years at 53.43 per cent.
The latest sero survey in Mumbai conducted by Brihanmumabi Municipal Corporation (BMC) has revealed that more than 51 per cent of children between the ages of 6 and 18 have developed antibodies against Covid-19. This is the fourth sero survey conducted in Mumbai since March 2020 when the first Covid-related lockdown was imposed in the country. The latest sero survey was conducted in the background of a possible third wave of Covid-19 which is anticipated to affect children disproportionately.More Related News
