Over 11 thousand families move to refugee camps as Taliban-Afghan forces fight on in Kandahar

Nearly 11,000 flee their homes and move to shelters as Taliban forces attack Afghan security agencies in the Kandahar  province of Afghanistan. 

The Afghanistan government has set up a shelter for more than 11,000 families in Kandahar city. The shelter is built to house people, who have escaped from battle-torn areas of Kandhar province in the last 15 days. After the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, the Taliban has opened a maximum battle front against Afghan security forces and claimed that it has captured nearly 70 per cent of Afghanistan.
