Rich countries have secured a few hundred million more Covid-19 vaccines than they actually require. So much so that over 100 million vaccine doses are set to expire by December, according to a study by research group Airfinity. This is even as poorer nations still await supplies.

“More than 100 million vaccines are set to expire by the end of the year and need to be redistributed immediately,” Airfinity said on Monday, September 20.
