Out on bail in murder case, man stabs wife to death in Tamil Nadu’s Karur

Selvaraja, a daily wage labourer from TN’s Karur, stabbed his wife to death on Thursday and is now on the run. He reportedly went to jail once in a murder case and has multiple other cases pending against him.
A woman was stabbed to death by her husband in Tamil Nadu’s Karur on Thursday, August 25. The man, who was already jailed for murder and still has multiple cases pending against him, is absconding
The accused, Selvaraja, a daily wage labourer in construction, was married to Sathya and the couple had two children. He was always suspicious of his wife's behaviour, and the couple reportedly fought often.
On the day of the incident, when Satya returned home from work, she got into a fight with her husband. The argument escalated, and an enraged Selvaraj took a kitchen knife and stabbed Sathya in the stomach.
Later, Selvaraj reportedly asked his elder son to take Sathya, who was lying in a pool of blood, to the hospital.
She was rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital in Karur, but she was declared brought dead. Karur Police, who came to know about the incident, launched an investigation.
Officials are looking for Selvaraj, who stabbed his wife to death and is now absconding. Selvaraj, alias Siva, has already gone to jail in a murder case and has multiple other cases pending against him.
Further investigations in the case are underway.
